Responsible Gaming: Keep It Fun, Keep It Safe
Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. These tools help keep it that way.
Adults 21 and over only
Philippine law sets 21 as the minimum age for gambling. Never share accounts with minors.
Budget worksheet
| Step | Example |
|---|---|
| Monthly income after bills, food, school, savings | ₱4,000 |
| Entertainment share you're comfortable with | 25% = ₱1,000 |
| Per-session budget | ₱250 × 4 sessions |
| Per-bet size (about 1%) | ₱2 to ₱3 |
Simple rules that work
- Set deposit limits before your first deposit (see the payments guide).
- Use a timer; take a 10-minute break every hour.
- Never chase losses or borrow to gamble.
- Don't play when stressed, angry or drinking.
- Treat bonuses as optional, never as a reason to deposit.
Warning signs
- Spending more time or money than planned, often.
- Hiding gambling from family.
- Feeling restless when not playing.
- Using rent, tuition or loan money to play.
Self-exclusion and help
Licensed operators offer cool-off periods and self-exclusion. PAGCOR runs a National Database of Restricted Persons (NDRP) for exclusion requests. Free, confidential support is available through the National Center for Mental Health crisis hotline, and peer support through Gamblers Anonymous.
